Former co-founder of MANSFIELD, he has been living the world of perfumery with enthusiasm since 1985, going through multiple experiences.
He began his training as a sales consultant for the Fendi brand in the mid-1980s.

MASCA PARFUMS IS COMMITTED TO PROPOSING EXCLUSIVELY AN AUTEUR PERFUMERY, CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL, IN WHICH, AS A PHILOSOPHY, EACH RAW MATERIAL IS THE PROTAGONIST, WORKED AND MODELLED BY PERFUMER ARTISTS IN AN ABSOLUTELY FREE WAY.
It is the desire to think with modernity and new vigour about innovative creations, showing an increasingly curious and mature public with what personality olfactory creativity can express itself, drawing inspiration from the origins of the history of the perfumery and using it as a thread to give life to creations that respect tradition and are capable of composing new olfactory paths.
This research has been enthusiastically rewarded by the perfumery world, which has identified Masca Parfums as an ideal route towards the defence of its artistic values.
Massimo Scalella wanted to take care of every aspect of the project: from the creation to the compositional idea, from the design of the bottle to the innovative idea of the external packaging to the communication, making use of illustrious craftsmen, each a master in his own field.
Masca PARFUMS addresses a contemporary consumer who experiences perfumes, essences and odours as aspects of his or her life that are increasingly linked to the intimate and affective sphere, to one's memories, to one's emotions, through the absolute power of research and creativity, because to create value is to make a difference.
Born in Naples, a city of spiritual beauty and uniqueness, Massimo Scalella has always been nourished by the most precious aspects that the territory bestows: elegance, architecture, history, culture, tailoring, spirit of life. All characteristics that have fostered the constant search for exclusive design goals seasoned with the typical taste of a universal Neapolitan character.

The harmony between craftsmanship and modern technology also allows Masca Parfums to propose a new artistic vision, where the objective meets beauty and innovation.
The project is presented in an exclusive glass bottle with a timeless design created to a customised design, echoing the idea of precious distillate containers.
The bottle is enclosed in a uniquely designed packaging made of precious black textured paper with a contrasting pearlescent copper colour to dress and protect the precious contents.
The end result is extraordinary and represents a new benchmark in design, materials and quality.
